This well established commercially viable irrigated olive orchard is being offered for outright sale. The 2017 Harvest extracted over 90 tonnes of olives with machine harvester, producing 18,000 litres of quality Extra Virgin Olive Oil and 15,000kg of Kalamata table olives. Planted are 2500 olive trees, 22 years of age, approx 2000 being Frantoio, and 500 Kalamata. The olives are irrigated via the properties own 8 inch diameter groundwater bore and 60,000lph 3 phase electric submersible pump, netafim drip system, plus an automated fertigation system with 10,000 Litre fertiliser tank and 3 phase mixer.
Included is a 90 Megalitre (90,000,000 litres) per annum permanent groundwater extraction license. Very good quality irrigation water, low salinity (1025 e.c units). There are no water restrictions in the Murrayville groundwater area and you can also carry over unused megalitres into the following year.
The property also features a 12m x 9m modern shed 2008 built, 32mpa x 5in deep slab concreted floor, Molnar 3t 4 post vehicle hoist, plus 80 amps total of 3 phase electricity to allow adding further infrastructure, accommodation, processing plant, etc.
Output of the current olive yield can also be doubled by planting 2500 extra trees in between the current wide 7m x 8m tree spacing, to create a medium density 7m x 4m orchard. Also included with the sale are approx 2000 grafted Kalamata table olive trees in nursery bags, ready to be planted.

A recent review of the Murrayville groundwater area by GWM water shows no draw down in the water aquifer plus water use is already capped at a sustainable level therefore this is considered a very safe and reliable water system with zero water restrictions in pumping the full licence.
