NEX Building Group, one of Australia’s largest residential builders, is expanding its operations with the launch of a dedicated property business, Nex Property Australia.
Nex Property will provide a secure and reliable land pipeline for NEX Building Group’s house of brands, which includes McDonald Jones, Mojo and Complete in NSW, Brighton Homes in Queensland, Arden in Victoria, Weeks in South Australia and Wilson Homes in Tasmania.
Nex Property General Manager Nadim Akari said the business will focus on partnerships with state and local governments, community housing providers, private owners and joint ventures with reputable developers.
“We’re focused on unlocking opportunities that allow us to deliver high-quality residential communities, while complementing and strengthening the successful business model our building brands have already established,” Mr Akari said.
“In the early stages, our attention is on sites yielding between 100 and 300 lots—but our ambition is much bigger.”
NEX Director and Chief Strategy Officer Koji Naganawa said Nex Property will work closely with NEX Building Group and target low to medium-density housing solutions.
“As we establish our capability, we’ll scale into larger acquisitions that can shape new precincts and support long-term national growth,” Mr Naganawa said.
“We are in discussion with several parties and expect to announce our first project shortly. This will lay our foundation for growth across NSW while exploring opportunities in multiple other states.”
