11th September 2025: Orchard Property Group has reached a significant milestone at its $40 million land estate, The Junction Narangba, in the Moreton Bay Region, with all 106 land lots now sold. This milestone underscores the strong demand for alternative pathways to home ownership amid one of Queensland’s most severe land supply shortages.

The sell-out highlights the persistent lack of affordable land products across South East Queensland, with supply now at its lowest point in more than a decade. Orchard continues to meet this challenge head-on,  delivering much-needed housing solutions in key growth corridors and cementing its reputation as a leading player in addressing the state’s housing crisis.

First Home buyers were the driving force behind sales at The Junction Narangba, accounting for 60% of all purchasers.

“It’s a fantastic result to see all 106 lots now sold, and even more rewarding to see so many first home buyers finally get a foothold in the market,” said Ted Cronin, CEO of Orchard Property Group.

“Right now, we’re facing a major affordability challenge, where first home buyers are getting priced out due to rising construction and delivery costs.

“At Orchard, our focus has always been on supporting first home buyers, so it’s great to see that commitment paying off at The Junction with such strong uptake from this group.”

With average residential land prices in South East Queensland now topping $1,000 per square metre and supply at its lowest level in more than a decade, growth areas like Moreton Bay are under unprecedented pressure.

Orchard Property Group has been at the forefront of delivering solutions in these corridors, ensuring more first home buyers can secure a site of their own.

The Junction Narangba features 106 lots ranging in size from 225 sqm to 731 sqm, with prices starting from $250,000.

The estate was designed to suit growing families seeking a healthy, community-focused lifestyle, with more than 1.3 hectares of green space, including a community park and playground.

Strategically located just off Callaghan Road,  The Junction Narangba is just minutes from schools, shopping and dining precincts, offering residents a lifestyle of convenience and connectivity.

“Building a community is at the forefront of our design philosophy,” said Mr Cronin.

“We aim to foster a strong sense of belonging and community, and The Junction Narangba reflects that, with amenities that prioritise health, wellbeing and genuine neighbourly connections.”

Orchard continues to be a driving force in the delivery of affordable, residential land estates across South East Queensland. Recent projects include the $155 million Pebble Creek in South Maclean, comprising 646 lots, which also achieved a complete sell-out, and the newly launched  Alto and Aire communities,  both designed to support entry-level buyers in high-growth corridors.
