As affordability pressures and deposit hurdles continue to shape first home buyer activity, HomeSolution by Metricon is offering up to $30,000 in combined savings targeting eligible purchasers across selected build regions in Victoria.

The limited-time incentive brings together government and builder contributions, combining the $10,000 First Home Owner Grant with a further $20,000 in build savings. The offer is available on new deposits from February 2026 across Melbourne Metro, Regional Victoria and Southern NSW new estates.

The structure of the incentive allows buyers to allocate the savings toward different aspects of their purchase, whether reducing upfront costs, bringing forward their move-in timeline, or incorporating upgrades and finishes into their home.

The incentive is being offered through HomeSolution by Metricon, which is geared toward first home buyers seeking a more streamlined path into home ownership.

HomeSolution by Metricon provides pre-configured home designs, fixed pricing, and a simplified selection process, with a curated range of inclusions and colour schemes intended to reduce decision complexity and shorten build timeframes.

HomeSolution also connects buyers with in-house advisors and finance partners, guiding them through each stage of the process from initial enquiry through to construction and handover. The model is designed to give buyers greater clarity on costs early, alongside access to low deposit pathways and lending support.

The incentive sits alongside broader policy settings such as the Home Guarantee Scheme, which allows eligible buyers to enter the market with deposits as low as five per cent, or two per cent for single parents, without incurring lenders mortgage insurance.

Metricon has also paired the campaign with a separate $10,000 competition, in partnership with FOX 101.9, open to visitors who register at a HomeSolution display home in Victoria.

While availability is limited to eligible first buyers and selected estates, the incentive reflects ongoing efforts by volume builders to address affordability constraints at the entry level of the housing market, where upfront costs remain a key barrier to entry.
