Hoek Modular Homes

Hoek Modular Homes is a Queensland-based family building business, founded in 1967. Guided by CEO Dean Hoek, the company has seen three generations of builders and has acquired over 55 years of experience within the industry. From its origins in the Brisbane area, the enterprise has developed an impressive reputation for delivering reliable, high-quality homes, while prioritising customer service. The business holds a solid standing amongst authorities such as the Department of Housing, the Master Builders Association, local councils, as well as among Queensland families, reflecting their unwavering pride in their diligent workmanship.

A significant milestone in the history of Hoek Modular Homes was the undertaking of a substantial contract in the 1960s with the Department for Housing and Housing Commission. The task involved building 50 houses in Mt Isa, a project that was accomplished successfully despite logistical challenges of the time, and this project played a pivotal role in establishing Hoek Homes as builders never inclined to compromise on the quality of their work.

Later, Dean Hoek carried forward the family tradition. After completing his carpentry apprenticeship, obtaining his license to install sanitary house drainage, receiving an award for being the most promising stage apprentice, and gaining proficiency in operating heavy machinery, Dean obtained his Licensed Builder's Number. Consequently, Dean became a partner, benefitting from his father and uncle's mentorship.

Recognising an opportunity within the modular homes sector, Dean formed Hoek Modular Homes in 2000, aiming to bring detailed workmanship as well as superior customer service to the industry. Today, the company boasts an impressive team divided across multiple aspects of the building process, from in-house transport to installation teams.

Currently situated within Queensland's Lawnton area, north of Brisbane, Hoek Modular Homes prioritises a seamless building experience for its clients. Services extend from assisting clients in choosing appropriate home designs to managing all relevant approvals and on-site installations.

The building firm constructs a wide variety of homes, from 1-3 bedroom granny flats that are constructed within 50km of their Lawnton offices, to transportable 1-5 bedroom modular homes delivered Queensland-wide. Despite the varying styles, the company ensures every home aligns with customers' needs and preferences and oversees the completion of homes, ready for habitation. The entire construction process, from kitchens to light fittings and floor coverings, is conducted at the Brisbane facilities to ensure consistent quality control for each home built. This dedication to quality extends to a final check of each completed home before being carefully packed for transport.

In summary, Hoek Modular Homes are known for their enduring dedication to quality and customer service, producing vast varieties of modular homes for nearly four decades, and their continued drive to provide a seamless building experience makes them a reliable choice in the modular home build industry in Queensland.
